V-Pins by Monkeybiz

These specially created and designed V-Day pins come straight from the South Africa based non-profit Monkeybiz, a sustainable income generating organization that provides self-employment opportunities to bead artists and provides them with skills training and support.

This inspirational project empowers more than 450 women, many of whom are HIV positive, by providing beads and beading material. They live in Cape Towninformal settlements like Khayelitsha, Philippi, Mandela Park and other areas.

Each woman is paid for each piece she produces, in addition a percentage of the proceeds from the sale of V-Pins will benefit V-Day's work to end violence against women and girls.
